A retreat to connect with cacao and the wisdom of the prehispanic latin american cultures, to discover more lightness, joy and alignment in our spiritual path.

In this retreat you will learn more about cacao, its uses today and its relevance to the Mayan culture in the pre-hispanic period. You will be involved in the use of this sacred plant and connect with the energy of the solstice, through cacao drinking, yoga, temazcal, dream interpretation and offerings to Mother Earth.

With the magic of cacao and the Mayan and Amazonian wisdoms, we will travel within ourselves to discover peace, love and joy to be co-creators of reality. We will connect with the sacred cacao, remembering our beautiful purposes on this Mother Earth.

What will you learn?

• Traditional ways and recipes to connect with cacao in a loving and simple way.

• Energetic connection with one’s own body through yoga.
• Perspectives on the interpretation of dreams, from the Amazonian cosmovision.

• Knowledge about the sacredness of cacao in the ancient Mayan culture (hieroglyphics, iconography, cosmovision).

• Greater connection between the emotional, mental, physical and spiritual bodies, through a temazcal ceremony.

• Knowledge to offer to Mother Earth through indigenous cosmovisions.
  ​
• Alignment of the spiritual path, by recognizing the social, ecological and energetic congruence in daily life.

• Greater capacity to weave community from joy, humility, love and solidarity.

10:00 – 12:00 hrs – Demonstration of cocoa recipes
12:30 – 13:30 hrs – Lunch
14:00 – 16:00 – Cacao Ceremony: Offering of gratitude to Mother Earth
16:30 – 19:00 hrs – Experience “The twenty nahuales”.
19:30 – 20:30 hrs – Dinner

Saturday June 22nd

7:00 hrs – Talk on interpretation of dreams and yoga session
8:00 – 9:00 hrs – Breakfast
9:30 – 12:30 hrs – Temazcal (sweat lodge)
12:30 – 13:30 hrs – Light lunch
15:00 – 17:00 hrs – Talk about ancient Mayan cacao and cacao hieroglyphics drawing exercise
17:30 – 19:00 hrs – Cacao drinking and meditation with sound
